A New Year: Fine
and Dandy
|
| |
I don't think I know anyone who didn't lose something this past
year.
The list makes me cry.
Their courage makes me cry more.
As many of you know, I encourage everyone to set aside a
special time at the end of the year to celebrate success. But this
year, I considered skipping it. |
| |
Read why I'm celebrating three things with you: courage, love, and
hope. |

On 10 October 2009 in Helsinki, Finland, the Helsinki School of
Economics MBA Program honored me with the 25th Anniversary Award
2009 "for outstanding teaching and valuable contribution to the
program".
I truly believe that the real "award" is the opportunity to
teach there (this January will be my 28th class since 1999).
Thank you, once again, to the administration and to all my
former students (now my colleagues and friends).
Presenting the award at the Gala: my former students Tuula
Heiskanen and Otto Aalto.

Remember: Chin
Up!
|
| |
Believe in yourself--who you are and what you have to offer.
Chin up! Know that your contributions are right on target
because you are smart, experienced, and prepared.
Chin up! Feel confident in what you know and what you are
worth.
Chin up! Stand up straight, hold your head high, face issues
and people head on.
Especially now!
Please email me with your comments, questions, and stories.
Thanks again for reading! --Sherron |
