Happy Spring! This year is going so fast...
As we are stressing about the global economic situation, I'm
interested in how people choose to behave and to communicate. It
is a choice, of course, and what you choose will inevitably
shape what other people think of you.
My opinion, in "Now Is a Really Good Time...", is below.
Thank you, as always, for reading.

Now Is a Really
Good Time . . .
|
| |
To say "thank you."
I know. Times are tough. And in tough times, it's easy to look
at our shrinking retirements or our diminishing opportunities and
think that this is a really good time to be greedy. Nah.
This is a really time to say "thank you".
Here's the problem: if we surround ourselves with greedy
people, then their awful behavior starts looking normal, and we
might actually think that it is appropriate.
It's not. Greed is never appropriate.
It's, well, ugly. |

I was so surprised at your response to my New Year's article,
"Celebrating You," which was the most read and re-read article in
the history of this newsletter.
I was also stunned by the flood of emails. I have never
received so many lovely messages.
You motivate me to dig deeper and to try harder and to be...
better.
Thank you.
